Since 2018, I’ve been selling property across Perth, with a strong focus on the inner southern suburbs, from South Perth and Como through to Applecross and the surrounding riverside neighbourhoods. I entered real estate during one of Perth’s tougher market stretches, and I’m glad I did: learning to win results in a hard market teaches you discipline that an easy market never will.
My experience isn’t limited to residential property. Since 2018 I have worked across a broad range of residential property, from apartments and family homes through to higher value and prestige sales, together with commercial experience including offices, warehouses, industrial and investment property across Perth. That breadth is valuable, but my residential focus stays firmly on the inner south.
Along the way I’ve met some wonderful people, many of whom have become long-term clients and friends. For me, that’s one of the best parts of real estate. Every property and every person has a different story, and I genuinely love what I do.
Before real estate
Thirty years of business before the first listing.
My working life began in 1987, building and operating my own businesses long before I ever sold a home. Running a business teaches you things a sales course can’t: how to read people, how to stay calm when the stakes are high, how to negotiate hard without burning the relationship, and how to keep a promise when keeping it is inconvenient.
That experience shaped the way I work today: straightforward advice, calm decision-making and strong commercial negotiation. When the buyer on the other side of your sale has an agenda, you want someone across the table who has spent decades reading them.
Brian McAllister Properties was established to build a more personal style of real estate service. The philosophy is simple: you should know exactly who is looking after your property, and you should have direct access to the person responsible for your result.
Today the business works in conjunction with The Agency, combining personal, hands-on service with the reach, marketing muscle and resources of a major national real estate brand. You get both: the big-brand campaign, and the one accountable name.
